GA4 workflow
Repeat a client reporting run across properties
Use consistent events and dates to prepare a reviewable cross-property report.
A practical sequence
From inspection to a documented next action.
01
Define the report
Agree the events, metrics, breakdowns and date range. Check whether the properties use comparable definitions and time zones.
02
Select the client scope
Confirm access and the intended properties. Start with an individual run before expanding to a Premium batch.
03
Inspect the output
Review missing data, reporting delay and unexpected differences. A combined table does not make inconsistent measurement definitions comparable.
04
Prepare the deliverable
Premium adds CSV/Excel exports and report email. Record the scope, reporting dates and caveats alongside the figures.
What the result meansDo not treat a sum across properties as deduplicated people or conversions. Validate the meaning of the rollup with the client.
