Local audits. Explicit data flows.
ODDVX runs on your Windows computer and connects to Google with your own Google account credentials. Optional report email, support messages and AI guidance use external services as described below.
Data flows
What stays local, and what is sent.
Google access and audit processing
Your Google account key is stored locally and used to authenticate directly to Google APIs. Audits and generated files are processed on your computer. Grant only the access needed and revoke it in Google when appropriate.
Reports and support you choose to send
When you email a report, the report, recipient details and delivery request pass through the ODDVX relay and email provider. Support messages and any screenshots you attach are sent for support. Review content before sharing it.
Optional Oddie guidance
Your conversation and basic screen context are sent to the AI provider you choose using your own API key. Oddie is a usage guide; it does not run audits or make changes. Do not paste client secrets into a conversation.
Licensing, updates and device activity
Premium licensing uses activation details. Free sends a random device identifier, app version and coarse OS information. These records indicate devices and versions, not verified successful audits or individual people. See Privacy for details.
Change controls
Different operations have different effects.
Read-only Google checks
Inventory, dependency mapping and read-only reports inspect account data without editing Google configuration.
GTM workspace changes
Proposed GTM edits are previewed and staged for review. ODDVX does not create or publish container versions; you publish manually in GTM.
Direct GA4 changes
Confirmed edits to GA4 events, dimensions and channel groups take effect in GA4 directly. There is no GTM-style publish step.
Browser tests
Form tests submit real data to the selected website and can trigger downstream actions. Page visits and network tests can also create analytics traffic. Agree the scope and test data before running them.
