GTM workflow

Run a repeatable GTM naming-standards review

Check an agreed convention, review exceptions and stage corrections across the accounts you manage.

A practical sequence

From inspection to a documented next action.

01

Set the standard

Agree tag, trigger and variable naming rules with the client. Record deliberate exceptions and who owns them.

02

Run a read-only audit

Use Standardization Audit on the selected account or container. Inspect the findings against the actual measurement plan.

03

Review proposed changes

Use inventory and dependency mapping to understand each candidate. Preview any rename or cleanup and stage only approved changes.

04

Repeat at handover and review

After manual publication and verification, revisit the same standard during the next client review. Premium adds batches and exportable findings.

What the result meansA naming finding needs review against the client’s convention. Deliberate exceptions can be valid; a consistent name alone does not prove that a tag behaves correctly.
